How sweet the treasure of your friendship,
How true the words you speak,
When darkness overwhelms me,
You’re the one I seek.
How sad my heart becomes,
When yours is in despair,
When it is you for whom I’ve sought,
You’re always out there.
Without you my life seems emptier than space,
Without you I would search for comfort in the unforgiving dark,
Never finding anything in its rightful place,
When the pain wraps around me,
The landscape of my dreams is stark.
The dulcet tone of your voice,
So comforting and serene,
But as the darkness of the night falls I know I have no choice,
I only hope to hear you in my dreams.
Why we should know loneliness,
I only slightly understand,
It just seems as if love and hurt,
Must always go hand in hand.
With the sound of your soft voice,
I can forget all my sorrows,
The sound of your laughter,
Makes me forget the worries of tomorrow.

(Dear Zoners,
I am hoping that if any of you have an idea what I should name this poem, you will let me know. Enjoy and thanks for trying this out.)

I like the poem. It's sweet but lonely.

My suggestion for a title is: "The Voice".

Wow. I really enjoyed that poem. It was very good. good job! As for a title, i'll have to think on that one, but if I come up with something, I'll be sure to post it.

Beautiful and very sincere Spirit Lover? the character in question seems more like a spirit, than an actual person, as if they have been created to help you through this ordeal.
